Julie asked me today if I would make her and Jeff some masks. I mentioned I had some Seahawks fabric (leftover from a grandchild's pillow case project).

MEET UP
I took the dogs and drove down and parked my car at the Barton Street entrance to Fauntleroy Park. Darrell walked from home and entered from 97th at the top. That's where we met and walked together back down.
It was a great morning walk.

STRANGE FLOWER
As I was walking in Fauntleroy Park and enjoying all of Trilliums in bloom, I saw a reddish-pink bloom peeking out from under a fern.
I've never seen a wildflower like that before. Wow!
On closer examination, it was a Camellia flower that someone had placed there. It had me going for a while.

DIFFERENT WORLD
It's a different world we are living in lately. Things have changed so quickly. Darrell and I are practicing social distancing. We aren't going out unless it's to the grocery store. PCC has senior hours in the morning, and that is when we go.
We go for our walks in the park early in the morning, too. There seems to be a lot more people and children coming later in the day.
I've been working on a project that's for someone else and that is why I haven't been posting any progress pictures. In fact, I haven't taken any photos of this project yet. I'll post the finished project after it's in the hands of its recipients.

MONDAY WATERCOLOR
Our Watercolor Class has been moved to Mondays for the next several weeks. Our instructor, Jenna Roby took this photo of downtown Seattle which we used as a reference for this week's class.

HAPPY EMAIL
I got an email that made me happy today. In fact, it was just what I needed. Thanks, Katherine (and Jo).

CHARMED
I picked up an Alison Glass Charm Pack of 100 5" squares at Quiltcon.
I just laid them out as them came off the stack with a black and white print sash in between. I decided to leave out the mostly white ones.
