I flew into Atlanta Georgia to attend Quiltcon 2023. My flight left at 9:50am and we arrived around 5:30pm. That sounds like a long day, but it's the three hour difference and I did lose a lot of the day. I was hoping to make it to the 7pm Awards Ceremony, but alas, it didn't happen. I got to my hotel around 7:30. And, wow! What a hotel. I'm staying at the Peachtree Westin. It was built in 1976, designed by architect John Portman.
Everywhere I looked there was some amazing shapes, shadows and designs to see.
