47/100

The day started with a walk in Lincoln Park, then Darrell got started early on the deck.  I joined him a little later, but I just  mostly watched and interfered most of the day.

He decided to do the steps next.  There was a lot of figuring and building.  First though, was a trip to Home Depot to get some more treated lumber.  We thought if we went early there wouldn't be too many people there.   I guess everyone was thinking the same thing, because it was as crowded as normal.  Most people had a mask on, including the folks working there.  But, there were a few that didn't.  There's a whole contingent of the population that still thinks this virus is a hoax or not as contagious or dangerous as being touted.  They are being manipulated by our horrible president who's only concern is the economy.  He doesn't care about people or their health, he just wants to get re-elected and he needs a thriving economy to do that.

Luckily, West Seattle people are pretty compliant and concerned about their health and the health of the community.

Anyway, back home, work continues on  the deck.

He moved the ramp away from the steps and then trimmed off the overhanging boards.

He put a nice little round-over on the outer edge.

Next it was building the under frame for the steps.

With one side done, we finished for the day and I went upstairs to work on my scrap bucket.  I made three more triangles.
