SHATTERED ON LONGARM

 After I finished the Equinox top, I moved right into loading another quilt on the longarm.  Next up is the Shattered quilt.  The back was ready to go, but I needed to piece together some batting.  This quilt is 48" by 64".  I had 60" x 60", and then they jump up to Double 72" x 93".  So I pieced some scraps together.

I'm stitching in the ditch around the plain boxes (on point), then I'm having Eduard quilt a simple pattern in each box.

QUILTING CIRCLES

 Spent some time quilting on the Opening Night quilt.  I'm doing mostly ruler work, stitching in the ditch and outlining the stars and putting circles where I can.  I found a nice little design with circles to put in the middle of the big stars, too. (not shown here)

QUILTING BEAR PAWS

 I'm quilting stitch-in-the-ditch around each Bear Paw block with a circle in the 'palm'.  It's almost fun.  I love this Hobbs Tuscany 80/20 cotton/wool batting.  It's making this quilt look really good.

MORE QUILTING

 I got a little bit more quilting done on the Ursus quilt.

I used a simple computerized pattern in the setting triangles and am just stitching in the ditch around the bear paws.  I'm still contemplating whether to put something in the sashing.

QUILTING TABLERUNNER

I loaded the Leaf Tablerunner onto my longarm and got the top row quilted today.  Well, I did the outlining of the 'leaves'.  I'm not sure about what to put in the background yet.

QUILTING PATH

I finished the back for Mortar and Putty with some difficulties.  I can't seem to wrap my brain around the problem and it seems to me that I never used to have difficulty with problems like this.  My brain is slowing down.   Anyway, I gave up and let it be not right.  I don't care.  

I put the label in the screwed up junction.

I made a label for the Drunkard's Path, too.

Then I loaded it onto the machine and started quilting it.  I used the channel-locks to baste it on square, but I also used them while I stitched-in-the-ditch around the small red border.  It worked great!  Love my A-1.

I'm free-motioning the inside.  I'm going to use a computer design for the borders.
