BIG QUILT ON A-1

Okay, I think this is the biggest quilt I've ever put on Eduard, my A-1 quilting machine.  Its 99" by 117".  The backing is even bigger and is exactly as wide as my leaders - 108".

Here we go.

I'm doing an allover panto called Damask.  It's very nice.  I'm making masks while Eduard works.

CLIENT WORK DAY

I got another job from the same people my last one was with.

This time it's just a little tablerunner.  I got it all quilted by computer, made the binding and got the binding on in one day - about 5-1/2 hours total.  [Made $45]  Let's not think about that too much.

I had to repair a few seams that weren't sewn together before I started.

FIRST PAID QUILT JOB

I've been working on a customer's quilt.

I pieced the back together out of fabric they provided.

I am supplying the batting.

I was surprised at how challenging this would be.  But, I'm doing my best.

I drew this design onto paper, then perforated it with my threadless sewing machine.  I'm using a pounce to mark the block, but rubbing it over my homemade stencil.
