BACKING FOR INTERTWINE

 I've been working on making the backing for Intertwine.  I got it finished today.  I printed out the label and started inking it onto fabric.  I realized, after it was too later, that I hadn't printed Intertwine, I had printed Interweave.  It was either go with it or scrap it and start over.  So, I just decided to go with it.  It is now called Interweave.  The next one can be Intertwine, I guess.  I used fabrics from my stash mostly, and a few pieces leftover from the cutting of parts.  A couple of these prints made me wonder why I'd bought them in the first place.

After I got it done, I thought it needed a heart.  So I gave it one.

MINI HEARTS BLOCK

 This week's block for Art East Quilting Mini-block Sampler is 'Hearts'.  I finally got it finished today.  I had trouble with my iron.  I had gotten goo on it when I fused light weight interfacing to some of the shirt fabric I'll be using in an upcoming workshop.

I got some goo on this little block and had to start over. There was a wait until I got some Goo Gone delivered in order to remove the adhesive that was left on my iron.

So, here it is, finally done.

FINALLY FINISHED H PAINTING

 Wow, I think it's been a while since I painted outside.  The air quality has been so bad from the smoke from fires, here and in California and Oregon.  We've been advised to stay inside.  The few times I spent a little time outdoors I'd end up with a sore throat and lungs and a headache.  I've missed painting.

So, here is the H painting I started way back on last Friday, the 11th. I'm not very happy with it.  I just wanted to get it done and move on.

Today should have been Tax  Day, but it has been postponed!  Yea!  We owe this year, so now I don't have to mail a check until July 15th.  I'll make maybe $6 in interest.  Yoohoo!  This is one of the few positives of this horrible virus.
