TRIP TO MCLENDONS

I had to go to McLendon's for a carbon-monoxide alarm because our furnace was firing correctly and I was worried.  The repairman can't come until tomorrow.

I was surprised to see a line outside.  An employee was at the entrance monitoring.  She would only let another customer in once someone exited the store.

There were X's to show were to stand to maintain the 6 foot minimum spacing.

I only had to wait about 15 minutes, but I was sorry I hadn't worn my jacket.  It was nice out as long as you were in the sun.  The waiting line was in the shade with a little breeze.

This guy had on a homemade mask that apparently used bra straps for the elastic!  Make do.

DIFFERENT WORLD

It's a different world we are living in lately.  Things have changed so quickly.  Darrell and I are practicing social distancing.  We aren't going out unless it's to the grocery store.  PCC has senior hours in the morning, and that is when we go.

We go for our walks in the park early in the morning, too.  There seems to be a lot more people and children coming later in the day.

I've been working on a project that's for someone else and that is why I haven't been posting any progress pictures.  In fact, I haven't taken any photos of this project yet.  I'll post the finished project after it's in the hands of its recipients.
