I made this little quilt a few years back when I was doing the Design classes with Joen Wolfrom at Quilted Strait in Port Gamble. The project was to make something with a fabric you thought was 'ugly'. I picked this green with a funny little motif with a red circle and purple and gold flowers. I just gave it the name Candy Apple because a Kona fabric called Candy Apple Green matches the green color of the background and I used it on the backing.
I wanted to do more longarm quilting so I loaded it up and got to work.
