ATLANTA GEORGIA

We flew to Atlanta Georgia this morning.  This is the first leg of our trip to Quiltcon in Nashville.

First stop, in  the pouring rain, was the capital building in Atlanta.

We then headed to Highland Hardware, high on Darrell's list of things to see in Atlanta.

They have both of his books there.
We were very near the Carter Library, so we drove by.  It was closed.
Afterwards, as it started to get late, so we made our way to our hotel and dinner.  It was still raining and the traffic was horribly slow.

We didn't spend much time in Atlanta, unfortunately, but we got a little taste.
