FINISHED LEAF TABLERUNNER

I took the Leaf Tablerunner off the longarm the other day and put facing on it.  Instead of hand sewing the facing down on the back, I decided to sew it down by machine.  It looked really nice and I decided to continue with the echo lines quilting all over using the walking foot.

I put it on the table in the entryway.

57/100

With another half day of sanding on the deck, he got it done.  Now we need to wait a few days for the sun to darken it up some before we put the sealer on.  We need some sunny days for that to all happen.

I finally finished the quilting on Motley Quad, the scrappy quilt.

I also made the binding and sewed it on - the quilt is done.  It's very wavy.  I might wash it and see how that makes it look.

I got few more triangle blocks done, too.

FACED

Got the facing on and flipped to the back and ironed.

While ironing I noticed that darn oil spot that I thought I had cleaned off yesterday is still there.

I cleaned it again with Sew Clean, but not before I had inadvertantly ironed it.  I hope it comes out.

So, you will see in the photo the upper left still has a wet spot.

Jax was not happy about the damn explosions after the Seahawks game today.  It scares him.  He wants me to reassure him that we aren't going to die.

ALMOST HALFWAY

I'm almost halfway done with the quilting on the Seasons quilt.

PRESENT FOR ME

Before I left for the retreat, I ordered a big set of Aurifil threads.

I needed more colors if I was going to use a thread to match the fabrics on the Seasons quilt.

Look what I got!

I'm using Westalee's ruler "Circles on Quilts" to do the half circles quilting at quarter inch arcs.

QUILTING

I've started quilting the Seasons quilt on my longarm, Eduard.

I'm going to need more thread colors!
