THANKSGIVING BREAKFAST

I made a Ham and Cheese (with broccoli) Quiche for breakfast.

Let the eating begin.

The family is coming over for dinner.  I'll be making roasted turkey, which has been brining since yesterday, green bean casserole, Italian sausage dressing (gf), and Darrell will mash the potatoes.

Mom is bringing apple pie and pumpkin pie.  Julie is bringing yams.  Nicole will bring rolls, including gf rolls.  I also made some bacon, jalapeƱo and date appetizers.

THANKSGIVING 2020

We had a hybrid dinner of purchased turkey and mashed potatoes, while I made stuffing and a sweet potato casserole.

We ate too much. We watched a movie and had a zoom meeting with Nicole and Victoria and Julia and Hailey.

We also counted the pumpkin pie as a substitute for a vegetable.  Works for me.

STRATA FOR BREAKFAST

I premade a strata with ham, eggs and cheese last night.  We cooked it up for breakfast this morning.

THANKSGIVING

It was a cold and clear morning.  We went for a nice walk in the park.

I spent the rest of the morning finishing the last few seams on the Unexpected Visitor top.

Then, we met up with the rest of the family at Rock Creek Restaurant in Renton for Thanksgiving dinner.  It was me and Darrell, Mom, Julie and Jeff, along with Aunt Marlys, Leslie, Collin and his fiance, Steve, Carolyn and all of his kids and grandkids, and Rick and his wife.  It was quite a crowd, 35 all together I think.
There was a banquet with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, yams, green beans, green salads, ham and prime rib and other things I wasn't interested in.  Then there was a dessert table with tiny little pies, and other bite sized goodies.  I brought a baggie and scooped up some of the leftovers for the doggies - they loved their Thanksgiving dinner, too.

A SMALL THANKSGIVING

We had a wonderful, small Thanksgiving dinner.  It was great.
