SMALL QUILT TOP MADE

 I randomly sewed the 4" squares together made from the One Room Schoolhouse charm pack.  These fabrics were designed by Brenda Ratcliff with RJR Fabrics.

Here's the finished top, 32" by 40".

CHARM QUILT STARTED

 This month's UFO Challenge project for me starts with one of the Charm Packs.  I decided to do something easy since the month is half gone.  I paired a light grey with them from which I cut 5" squares and drew a diagonal line on the backx.  Then I joined them with a charm square and sewed a quarter inch on each side of the line to make Half Square Triangle Squares (HSTs) when cut in half.

That will give me 84 4" HST squares to work with.

CHARMED, I'M SURE

 I loaded this small quilt yesterday and got it partially quilted.  We finished it up today.  

The quilt is made from a Charm Pack of 5" squares by Art Gallery, spaced with some strips in a black and white print.

I used Karlee Porter's Graffiti Quilting pack of designs for the pantograph.  It quilted out really nice, if somewhat slowly.  I'm really impressed with it.

While this was going on I started sewing together the Voltron! parts and pieces I had thrown up on the design wall yesterday.

CHARMED

I picked up an Alison Glass Charm Pack of 100 5" squares at Quiltcon.

I just laid them out as them came off the stack with a black and white print sash in between.  I decided to leave out the mostly white ones.

MARKET BAG

Someone posted a pattern to make a Market Bag from charm squares.

Here's mine.  I used some 'cat' fabric charms I've had around for a while.  I put the  basic structure together and quilted it on my longarm, Eduard.

SLOW DAY

Fall is in the air.  The dogs took me on our long uphill walk this morning, after we stopped and picked up a small pile of free firewood that was advertised on Nextdoor.com.  Darrell went to get a much bigger pile that was advertised on Nextdoor.com too.  We scored.

After an appointment with my ND, lunch and a trip to Costco, I had a little time.  I cut up the leftover fabrics from the Mortar and Putty quilt I just made.  They are now 315 2-1/2" squares.  What to do with them though?

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

I remembered my purpose and started working on a small quilt that has been sitting around for awhile.  Duh.

Simple piecing - easy peasy.

I've still got to make the sashing.  

And find the other one like this - I think I've lost it.
