WHALE POUCH FINISHED

 I sewed it all together this morning, included installing a zipper,  and now the Whale Pencil Case pattern by JotDotShop on Etsy is finished.  And it's so cute!

Now I'll be on the lookout for jeans with rounded pockets!

CUSHION FOR NEW DECK TABLE

 Darrell has been busy designing and making a new table for our deck.  And of course, we wanted to incorporate a place for the cat or dog to hang out underneath like they did with the previous table.  I made a custom cushion to fit in the space.

Both top and bottom sewn to sides, along with some ties to keep it in place

Finished!  Just needs stuffing.

PIPING AND PETS

 Amazon delivered the piping and zipper I needed to finish the dog bed cover.  The piping was a little smaller in diameter than I'd like to have had, but it was all I could find.  I now have a big spool of it, too.  I rounded the corners of the panels to make it easier to attach the piping and went for it.

The zipper was easy to install, but sewing the sides to the panels was a bit more challenging.  Engineering is always fun though.

Once I got it all together I jammed the big blanket he's been using and they took turns trying it out.

I think they approve.
