ANOTHER SHATTERED BLOCK

I got some work done on Opening Night before lunch.

After, I attended a Brave Patch zoom meeting and sewed some Shattered blocks together.

Then I trimmed up the last set of HSTs.

P BLOCKS

I just wanted to something simple and  mindless this morning.  So, I pulled out the neglected Alphabet quilt blocks I've been working on and did the P blocks.

It's been a while, so I didn't have my head into it and made the HSTs too big and had to trim them down.  I'm running out of the fabrics and I feel like I wasted some with this mistake.

SLOW

Oh my, what was I thinking?  With 300 blocks, each with 4 little blocks of two or three pieces, that's around 2600 pieces I have to cut out then sew back together.

I got 37 done today.

TRIMMING PIECES

I got all of the half-square triangles and flying geese sewed together for my Wallflower kit project so I could take them to work and trim them up there.

So, I did and I did.

HERE WE GO!

Over the weekend I got all of the smaller half-square-triangle squares sewn together and ironed.

I took them to work with me and got them all trimmed down.

Aren't the colors just beautiful!
